Outdoor Activities
Ranch Experience Tour the ranch and observe cattle and cropping operations, or assist with the ranch work such as haying, fencing, feeding and more (activities depend on the season). Fishing on the Ranch We’ll provide everything you need to fish at one of the many ponds on the Ranch. Fish species are large mouth bass, perch, panfish, catfish and northern pike. Fishing license NOT required on the Ranch.
Fishing on the Missouri Guided fishing includes boat and tackle for 3-4 people per boat. Fishing license IS required. We’ll clean and pack your fish. Additional fees apply.
Horseback Trail Ride Ride the majestic Missouri River breaks over the same ground Lewis & Clark traveled 200 years ago (1804-1806). Guided by experienced wranglers. Trail lunch provided. Estimated time: 4-6 hours. Additional fees apply and minimum of three people.
Circle H Kennels Observe or assist seasoned dog handlers training hunting dogs in the field. Availability based on training schedules.
Shooting Sports Challenging 13-station sporting clays course with 52 clay targets. Exciting 2-person flurry with 25 clay targets. Shotguns are available for rent. Additional fee: $20 per person per each round of sporting clays $4 per person per each round of the flurry

Missouri River Boat Ride Travel the historic Missouri River in a large pontoon or houseboat, and retrace Lewis & Clark’s voyage. Ten to twenty mile trip with a shore lunch. Additional fees apply and minimum requirement.

Canoe the Niobrara River Experience one of Backpacker Magazine’s Top Ten canoeing rivers in the country, and one of National Geographic’s Top 100 best adventures. The Niobrara is the nation’s longest east-to-west flowing river. It’s a picturesque and popular area attraction for canoes and tubing. The water is shallow and has a 3-4 knot current. Travel time on the river is from three to eight hours, at your descretion. Tubes or canoes are available. Additional fees apply
1-hour van ride from the ranch
South Dakota Badlands and Wall Drug Tour Day trip to the South Dakota Badlands National Park and Visitor’s Center. Lunch at the world famous Wall Drug Store in Wall, South Dakota. Six hours round trip driving time through the scenic Rosebud Indian Reservation. Additional fees apply and minimum of four people.
3-hour van ride, 6-hour round trip
Golfing Enjoy two different nine hole golf courses within eight miles of the Ranch. Green fees extra.
